Wailing Caverns was one of those places I never understood properly and would end up following the tank closely to make sure I did not get lost.

The Bot, The Mec and The Arc, I always found these 3 to be unattractive in appearance with the pinks and blues, for those pretty Blood Elf boys. Magisters' Terrace always reminded me of an Indian restaurant.

The Well of Eternity was ok, I just could never work out the strange buff that used to send my Hunters DPS into the stratosphere.Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15475673092257340904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003106972062679804.post-38234699056912786412013-01-26T09:43:24.987+00:002013-01-26T09:43:24.987+00:00Shattered Halls was the rise of the Prot Paladin, ...Shattered Halls was the rise of the Prot Paladin, no wonder you liked it. It was Prot Paladin or nothing, until they gave some of the other tanks the same skills as a Pally.

Shattered Halls was just too damn hard. That first room was never a clean pull. Running the Gauntlet was a nightmare and the slimes were just outrageous.

I only went in a few times at level but it is all indelibly imprinted on my mind the torture of the place.

Shadow Labs was tough but it was at least doable with due care and attention.Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15475673092257340904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003106972062679804.post-71575408404639019772013-01-26T01:03:43.288+00:002013-01-26T01:03:43.288+00:00I recently logged back on my 72 hunter, which I ha...I recently logged back on my 72 hunter, which I haven't played in about 2-3 years, and in Borean Tundra I was rampaging around two-shotting everything. I certainly don't remember it being that way. I think characters are just that much more powerful now.

As for instances, my best from Vanilla was Scarlet Monastery, while my least favorite was Wailing Caverns, notable for being so bad they actually rearranged it.

BC I liked Botanica for some reason, while I absolutely loathed Mana Tombs. Some of the mobs in there had a mana burn that was just ridiculous.

Wrath I didn't have any that I liked or disliked that much. I guess Halls of Reflection was pretty cool, but dimmed by being a nightmare in pugs. I guess Violet Hold was my least favorite, having done that all before in BM.

Cata I liked Well of Eternity best. You can tell they really put some effort into that one. Agreed with ZG for the worst, though I didn't play when it was current.

Mattnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003106972062679804.post-83805013189793246332013-01-25T22:20:07.674+00:002013-01-25T22:20:07.674+00:00It's funny, Shattered Halls was my favorite in...It's funny, Shattered Halls was my favorite in BC... but I was/am a prot paladin, so it was basically tailor made to make me look good.

Now, Shadow Labs, that one wore on me quite a bit. No, second boss, it is not time for fun. The inevitable "I quit, I'm just taking res sickness" always came from someone sooner or later if you wiped just because the trip back seemed to take forever and that is IF they could even find their way back. No one could find their way back.

Player 1: Don't you remember how we got in here john?
Player 2: I think I do.

(20 minutes later)

Player 2: Screw it, I give up, find someone else I quit.TheGrumpyElfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07621615711198405365noreply@blogger.com
